WELCOME to BigBeck, Bobbi, Sasha & his little sisters Page!
Our family has just expanded by 6 .......... we are now 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Isa Browns, 1 Australorp, 1 Buff Orp, 1 Maine Coon Cat, and 2 humans living the good life in Western Michigan
The chicks are 4 weeks old and growing, the...
We have 2 B.R. eleven week olds, and one has been crazy honking for a week or so now, very loudly. Also always when greeting us or excited - it is just too funny, and we are interested to see if this is her big girl voice or if it too will change to a cluck. She really does sound just like a goose!
Yes, definitely the buttons on the back of the pants pockets ......... they get me everytime! If I sit awhile with the girls, there is also a lot of tugging at the shirttail in back, too. Funny and cute at 8 weeks, but not sure about the full grown pecks:
Our 6 x 8 week olds have been in the coop for about 10 days now.......they put themselves in about 9:20, I stick my head in the service door and say good night, and after locking up - I admit - I sneek around and peek in the far window and watch them for a few minutes - they are too funny as...

Hi Michiganders, I am a new member here in Western Michigan, wishing the rain and cold would let up so we can get the 4 week olds outside a bit more! They love pecking around the garden, but are just exhausted after a couple hours out - too cute! Thinking we can move out to the new coop and run...
Welcome newbie Up-per I am also new as an official member, though lurking here for quite a while! We have 6 x 4 week old chicks here in Western Michigan, and somedays I fear they are all roosters! So much fun isn't it? Have fun, this is a wonderful site for support!
Just joined today, but shouldn't be too difficult to graduate up, as I have been consulting BYC and Forum posts daily for the past 4 months or so! Couldn't make it without you, thanks for this great resource!
Greetings all you Backyard Peeps - My First Post! BYC and this Forum are such a wonderful resource for us Newbies, thanks for all the helpful advice! My 4 week olds haven't cared much for treats beyond their starter mixed as a mash, but oh, last night the spaghetti caused quite the excitement...
