    Broody hen hatching eggs

    My hen is hatching chicks, we are on day 19 (Monday) and hatch day is this Wednesday. Today I was checking on everything and noticed an eggs was cracked, thinking she accidentally stepped in it. Do I need to do anything about this? Will the chick be ok? Thank you in advance!

    Not laying

    I have 6 chickens 4 of them are about 33 weeks old the other 2 are 20 weeks. I got the first 2 eggs a couple days ago but I’m almost positive they’re from the younger 2 why aren’t my others laying yet?

    Neighbours dog

    My neighbours have an American Eskimo. Yesterday their dog came through the fence and chased my chickens through the yard and killed one of them. We went over to talk to them but they denied it happened even though we had video footage. Is there anything I can do? I’m in Ontario.

    Update now today we lost another around the same time. There are now feathers off into the long grass (we live next to a farm field) I’m not sure what to do

    I have 8 chickens that are 11 weeks old. This morning there were only 7 in the coop I went back on security cameras that last time she was seen was 6:50pm they were all following a rabbit to the backyard. 10 minutes later 7 came back from the back. What could have happened?
