When I till it like I tried to do when I first put the garden there.I tried to rake the grass on top as much as I could .It is taking time but it should get some of the roots up.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a plann or designing a chicken tractor to use in the garden.
The idea I have is to build it in an A frame style where it will be easy to move or any other stye that can be moved easy.
My idea is to use it for a week or so till they eat the grass bare...
H ,I am close to Lake Hartwell, what there is left of it that is,.I have had chickens for about a year now.Was really wanting to get some Rhode Island Reds and White Leghorns for eggs.Does anyone close have any?Lee
The way I feel about a situation like that is that I paid for my property and it is mine not the city or county.Which I only have about 3 acrers and am in the country .I have one neighbor on one side that has goats and horses and the other has chickens also. And I keep my taxes paid.
Thanks,I am building a new pen .Was going to get some Rhode Island Reds but thinking of putting the chicks in there.Guess I will have enough for now.I have 23 including the chicks, guess it is enough.
Thinking after it warms up a bit putting them on there own.
I use the 7 ,5, and 3 gal waters.I just got a deal on them by trading a couple of old deer stands for them .I think I got a good deal on them. They are the octagan shape with the cone like on top and the tray on bottom.
There is a place down the road from me.It is in North east Ga. in Hart county. If you email me at [email protected] I can find out more about it.Thanks Lee
