    Being locked up in the coop would have provided them with a higher protein diet which might have kicked in the laying mode. They might also have been laying the whole time and eating/ hiding them. either way glad you have eggs. I'd still mark a few eggs and see if they disappear. Keep us...

    This is such an interesting thread aqhaktberry3 but i suspect your eggs are being eaten. I mean if they do the song then that usually means just laid an egg. Do keep us posted on what you have discovered.
