Thank you but that wasn't enough info. I was hoping to hear about the neosporan treatment I heard about here last year. This baby definitely has a problem.

My baby keeps scratching. I've treated it for mites but it keeps scratching it's ears. The ears look clean. How do I treat for ear mites?

Having problems breathing as you described with the mouth open is surely a sign of worms. The worms actually get in the throat. Try diatomaceious earth..food grade. Just mix small amount in food. Can be purchased at TSC. Diatomaceious is great to keep around. I even get rid of ants with it.

I can hardly wait to get started hatching eggs again. I'm just getting over the 50+ I've had in the brooder this year. Have 11 guinea in there now. Guess its time to fill the incubator again. I feel the erdge. All I have sitting now is a duck. I don't brooder those.

I also have a red rose comb sizzle. He is first generation. I'm going to breed him back with some silkie hens. He does have the dark feet though but not the extra toe. If I breed him back it will strengthen the silkie gene. Next year will be a busy year for me. I have some new cochin bantams...
