Appreciate this thread, especially nice to have brand and dose.
Wondering, do y'all manage to hold their heads & squirt into beak, or put it on food or in water? What works best for this? Any tips appreciated.
Oh! Also wondering if Equimax handles other types of common worms besides tapeworms...
Hello - have two geese that are always together, so not sure which one is doing this. Guessing is the male, who was recently in 7-day regimen of antibiotics for respiratory infection. However, it might be the female who is laying eggs and maybe having a repro issue?
Anyway, is a watery dark...
HI there -
So I had 2 geese then last year they managed to get a couple eggs to hatch before I snatched them up and now I have 2 ganders.... *sigh*
The youngster, Junior, is going through his first mating season, and has fought with dad a number of times while I have evolved ways to keep them...
Hi there - this chicken got attacked by a dog a few weeks ago and has visibly made a full recovery. Did have some neuro damage that was like a mild stroke that took a couple weeks to visibly get past.

Am wondering if other birds bullying her or if is normal moulting...

Got the egg removed, but complications. For one, it was my first experience with a lash egg. Finally got into vet who did not...
Right on thanks for info. She did manage to lay an egg that night or in early morning. And things turned around after that. She is earing and drinking now. Could egg have gotten turned around in her so was egg bound? Or some other egg issue? Am left wondering if it had something to do with...
Hello -
So had 1 of 5 RIR die about a week ago. Only 1y.o. in good health as far as I know. Suspected gander had killed her as he is obnoxious during mating season and he sleeps separate from hens at night because of this. Dunno if was him though. Found her at dusk by coop when went out...
Sounds good on gamebird feed. Have not caught anyone picking at her. Is not lice or any sort of parasite? That might cause her to peck at her own tail?
