    Firstly, I say hello to all bird people. I have my "zoo" of 1 Male Red-Golden Pheasant, a female pigeon, 2 silky bantams, and a partridge..plural..3 Chukars. They are lovely creatures. The only one needing "mental counseling" is Austrid, my male. 🤬🤣What a .....(!) But I luv him.

    But somehow, he seems to have lost his brains during the mating season. He's always snapping at my feet. Lol

    Wondering about "Red Golden Pheasant." He came 3 days ago with no feathers at the base of the tail. He Is a "Juvenile." Is this normal?

    I can answer this question for everyone: He was clearly caught against his will, sent to me, after ejecting his tail feathers to escape. Lol. The other hypothesis is they wanted to fit him in the box. But he's VERY pretty, and happy now. I've had him, wow, nearly 5 years?? it makes him I think 6 years old...maybe. I never got the birthdate.

    He's always near the computer asking for some grubs, or raw pistachios. His favorite, along with chia seeds.
    Oh, all my birds HATE that Dr. Pol stuff. Pffft ! I put some out for the crows, they didn't even want it ! 😆 It's important to me to know the best blends for my birds. People should speak more about the good blends. Money is tight nowadays, ya know !☺️
