I am hoping that he is just exhausted from trying to walk all day with those crazy feet and now that we have a bandaid on him he can rest and show improvement in the morning ..... fingers crossed that's for sure !!

... Just thought I would mention that I took him out of the incubator to take a picture of him and when I removed the old bandaid that I had applied it seemed that his legs stayed down .... just seems like he isn't strong enough to stand up on his legs just laying on his belly .... would he...
I do not have any of that stuff .... we have medicated chick feed and I was thinking about giving him a bit, he is not due out of the incubator until tomorrow morning .....
I hate seeing the poor little guy like this .... He hatched early this morning and in Nova Scotia it is 11:00pm ... so I figured it would be enough time for him to get his bearings ??

New to the site - the reason being mainly is because we just had a incubator full of chicks. They all seem to be doing great, except for one little guy. I looked at what they call the Splay feet, but it doesn't seem to be that - from what I can see. They don't go out like a bad...
We just hatched a full incubator of chicks. This one little guy is having a hard time. I looked at the splay foot and it doesn't seem to have that issue, but I tried to bandaid anyways. He just lays on his belly and his feet go over his wings. Everytime he tries to move he just pulls himself...
