    I am hoping that he is just exhausted from trying to walk all day with those crazy feet and now that we have a bandaid on him he can rest and show improvement in the morning ..... fingers crossed that's for sure !! Thanks everyone !!

    I do not have any of that stuff .... we have medicated chick feed and I was thinking about giving him a bit, he is not due out of the incubator until tomorrow morning .....

    I hate seeing the poor little guy like this .... He hatched early this morning and in Nova Scotia it is 11:00pm ... so I figured it would be enough time for him to get his bearings ?? Thanks ... it was a very unique hatch of chicks !!

    Hi there, New to the site - the reason being mainly is because we just had a incubator full of chicks. They all seem to be doing great, except for one little guy. I looked at what they call the Splay feet, but it doesn't seem to be that - from what I can see. They don't go out like a bad...

    We just hatched a full incubator of chicks. This one little guy is having a hard time. I looked at the splay foot and it doesn't seem to have that issue, but I tried to bandaid anyways. He just lays on his belly and his feet go over his wings. Everytime he tries to move he just pulls himself...
