Pullet or Cockerel? Any idea of breed?

Well its a cockerel. Thank you all for the opportunity to learn from you. His comb and wattles started coming out darker red and his tail feathers are the giveaway.

Pullet or Cockerel? Any idea of breed?

Thank you. Yes here they are. If I don’t want a roo what can I do for it to be rehomed or prepped for a meal when older?

    Arizona Chickens

I got a fertilized egg from a neighbor as I had a broody hen. The chick has hatched and I think she is a pullet at 8 weeks now. This was a great way to hatch one and mom does all the work.

    New Chicken Lady

When can I put chicks outside in extreme Arizona heat?

I too live in Arizona and am relatively new to chickens. Last year, my 1 year olds were in my Omlet Eglu at night - 4 girls. I put a 1 gallon bottle of water in the freezer and put that ice block in the coop with them at night. I took out the droppings tray and put a fan angled upwards to the...
