    could it be coccidiosis or ulcerative enteritis? the first quail i lost had white poop-- i just didnt know what it meant. now there are no white poopers but the rest of the symptoms are similar to the one who died.

    sadly, when i got out, the sickest one from yesterday was dead. i took pictures of its body and the other sick one. i quarintined the wrong birds last night and left a sick one with the main flock! i think it is spreading as well; today there are more less lively birds. picture of dead bird...

    they are fed a 30% protein game-bird chick starter from tractor supply and fresh water without vitamins or electrolytes.

    i have some quail who seem pretty sick. their symptoms are being drowsy and puffed up, not gaining weight, and walking very slowly. they eat and drink normally and both are male. when i let them out of their coop this morning, one of the sick quail was sleeping with its beak tucked into its body...

    ive never heard of putting electrolytes in [healthy] chicks' water, although now i wish i did! no, i havent been doing that. all my other chicks seem normal though.
