No, the toes don’t curl, they almost seem crushed, she barely flexes them at all. I can’t get her to move much unless the other chicks are around her but they are a few days older than her and have much more energy and tend to jump and stand on her, so it kind of seems pointless to keep any of...
I try to always leave her right beside them but she does end up moving away from them a little on her own. Thank you for your encouragement! I really hope she will be okay! Tuesday she was moving around pretty decently, but it seems like the more rest she gets the less she wants to move so I...
I’ve got her separated from the others in a 12x12 box with food and water. She doesn’t move very much unless I move her to the food and water, does she need something smaller?

Here is a couple pictures of her, the black australorp. Can’t really see her moving well but she can’t stand to eat or drink, just lies down. And when she does hop her wings go out and seem really unsteady too
Hey y’all, I’m new to BYC but my family has used it forever when they first got chickens 15+ years ago.
I just got some chicks Monday (5 Easter eggers and one black australorp) and one is probably a day or two younger than the rest, so she is significantly smaller than them. I noticed...
