    Weird thing on ducks foot

    Welcome to BYC! It’s just dry. My ducks get this in dry weather or if they do not have access to water they can swim in. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t get infected. He’ll be alright!

    I’m being hacked!

    I am actually going to be expanding my run. I don’t really think it needs it but it will help reduce feed costs with more room for them to forage. What they’re in is just a holding cage to keep them from my other ducks until I know they’re not sick.

    Update! So they are a few months old and are very pretty ducks! Both turned out female and still have all the bright feathers a male would have aside from the green head.
