    Lame Gosling

Thank you Miss Lydia. They do have their own space and mom has been sticking very close to her nest, almost like she knows. The gosling looks a lot more solid today as well. Nature is a pretty incredible thing.

    Lame Gosling

So I have a couple set of goslings that just hatched and one appears lame. Sagging eyes, floppy wings, and it has a difficult time walking (however it keeps up with its sibling and mother with difficulty). Was it perhaps hatched a bit to early and just needs a bit more time? Any advice? I...

    A Little Goose Help

Thanks for the tips... I am still not entirely sure...lol, but at least I am getting steered in the right direction. It is interesting that both the African and the Chinese are basically the same...both even being from China. Next step will be to take some weights and a few more detailed...

Eco Red Shield Lumber? Yay or nay for the coop?

I myself would not. I do a lot of different work involving various materials and the red lumber is just Home Depots version of pressure treated from anywhere else. They claim it to be lighter in weight...which it isn't to any noticable degree. When cutting it I take the same precautions I do...

    Watering Solutions in the Winter

Alright...I have seen/heard of several different methods so far. For the most part I can expect ice everynight and in those colder weeks where it doesn't even like to climb past 30 I will definitely need something.
