I went to CalRanch and they only offer straight run, Ace does not do chicks at all. And I so far can not locate anything else in my area. Bisbee is only 3 miles ad Tombstone not much further, I'll look there. Thanks

I went out to check all my brood. And looked at each hens vent that is laying and compared it to Lilly's vent. Lilly's vent is not moist at all. It is very dry.

I will check her vent this evening when I get home. To do this just look inside a little? Never done this before.........

I have a wheaten she lays beautiful deep green eggs. I got her the same time I got Lilly. Also lilly has never started the proverbial squat like the others. Instead I call it hiding. When she sees me coming she lays down completely like she is hiding and waits for me to pick her up.. Just odd...

She definitely is not in poor health.She is very healthy and active. No hidden places. I have searched the yard and know every inch. Could she be what I have heard called "asexual" which I believe is explained as not female not male.Is anyone familiar with this?

She shows no signs of being a rooster. And no crowing whatsoever.

If she was laying internally, would I see any signs of this?
