I have three Mandarin ducklings that are 7 weeks old. I believe I have 2 females and 1 male. The one male appears to be developing a red bill which has started from the corners of its mouth. 'TAME' Mandarin Ducks

Thank you. The koi pond will never freeze due and stay in low 40s during cold months due to the the house heat / cooling. Fresh water dispenses from that into the pond all year round. We also provide shelter and an automated feeder year round.

My question is...... - there a market for this? I know people buy Mandarin juvenile ducks from hatcheries for about...

Is it normal if ducks haven't started pipping at 28 days?

Hey., I found it useful to take three or four squares of toilet paper fold them all together to make a small square. Then dip the toilet paper square into water. Allow it to fully absorb water. I use regular cool water from the tap. I slightly pinch it to remove excess water so it is not...

Day 25 / small air cell.

I wanted to say thank you for the earlier advice regarding a small air sac within my Mandarin duck eggs. I took the advice to lower the humidity to 30 to 40% as well as allowing it to run dry. I did both. I ran dry for a day a good day between 12 and 16%. After candling, 24 hours later, I did...
