I wanted to say thank you for the earlier advice regarding a small air sac within my Mandarin duck eggs. I took the advice to lower the humidity to 30 to 40% as well as allowing it to run dry. I did both. I ran dry for a day a good day between 12 and 16%.
After candling, 24 hours later, I did see an improvement in the air sac and penciled.
Slowly increase the humidity between 45 - 50% from this point. Upon candling, another 24 hours later, even more improvement. Penciling again.
Today the humidity is where it ought to be before hatching. My three eggs are healthy and kicking with the humidity of 65 to 70%
Thank you for the advice I hope to have 3 baby Mandarin ducklings in a couple days.

Keep us updated!! My mandarin eggs are arriving on Saturday :) And my call ducks are on day 5.

Update.... It's day 30
Two have started an internal pipe over the night. Thinking they were dead I attempted 2 do the float test. A bubble a tiny bubble floating to the top of the waterline. Whoop whoop there still alive. Looking at the slight external pipe I see the membrane white as white can be. Now I'm worried that they'll suffocate because the white membrane indicates its rubbery.

I did a assist in that one spot and gave them a passageway to breathe
The third egg he does look male positioned. Stupid me I assisted this one and I ruptured blood vessel.I forgot to dab the blood vessel with a q-tip of water before doing so.
It has been an hour now since that happened. I returned them quickly to the incubator and jacked up the humidity to about 87 hoping he mends.
I just picked on him without opening the incubator and I can see him fluttering inside of this white membrane around his body. There's no hole for him to breathe but I do see a slight movement. I may have overreacted too soon on this guy. I have hopes he's going to make it

HOW Long DO I WAIT AND DO I DO THIS lil Guy. ?????

Can he still get a little air to breathe since I've broken it on his rear end side or create an air "poke" where the bill is????
