I’m having a terrible time figuring out what to do with the humidity for my 3buff duck eggs and 2 call eggs. Struggling to tell if the air cells are too big or too small so I figured I’d just post here and ask what to do.

3 buff eggs are in the same incubator, 2 call eggs are in the same incubator.

They were shipped eggs and had crazy air cells so I stopped turning on d21. buff eggs were wiggling on d23 so I increased the humidity from ~55% to 70%, but they’ve since stopped wiggling (no peeping or other noises) so I’m not sure if that was the right thing to do. Temp is right about 98.5 since d23.

Call incubator is at 98.5 since d23. I increased the humidity to 70 on d22 but wasn’t sure if I needed to wait until they internally pipped so I lowered it back to 55% in d23 but then I was nervous they would shrink wrap so I increased it back to 70 on d24 and now I’m dizzy with confusion.

This is so stressful I want to cry. Please help!

That’s what I keep telling myself! I do see a little movement occasionally, but it’s difficult.

If today is day 25 you can check them one last time before you begin lockdown.

If you can very carefully get the flashlight and hold it right up against the top of the egg where the air pocket is. That way no shadows will be on the outside.
You'll want to see a shadow on the inside of the air pocket similar to this one below, and you should be able to see movement.

If you're not comfortable holding the egg with one hand and taking pics with the other, don't do that, just look for yourself.
If you're unsure about what you see, all you can do is put them on lockdown and give them a few days.

If you hear little chirps then that means they've internally piped.

Ok. Since posting 2 buff eggs started moving again. I candled the third like you recommended and it was just dark. Both call eggs just look v dark, one has what looks like a small amount of fluid that moves with gravity. Not terribly optimistic about those two. Attached a photo of the call egg without fluid. Idk how to attach a video of the fluid filled one.

I still see a vein in this one posted, did you get any movement on this one?

Normally ones I see with fluid moving around are ones that stopped developing, but I always stick them back in and hope for the best anyway.
I would stick this one back in and see what happens. As long as the egg isn't fully dark and the air pocket isn't closing up to the top, its not rotten and won't explode.
