I have several breeds. The main flock are New Hampshires and BR. Also about 10 assorted fancy, Three Jersey giants, they are the older ones that are starting to lay. Also two ducks and 2 geese.
Very excited . had a bear visit the coop, It didn't get in just caused the chickens to yell a lot ! Guess I am doing pretty OK getting this thing built. He left a few muddy foot prints on the door nothing more.

Really well thanks for the information. It was a certified organic farmer that told me that GMO seed can be grown organically and sold as organic produce. Perhaps he was confused. The whole subject makes me very untrusting of the food and feed industry.
