  2. My first four chicks: two Rhode Islands Reds, 1 black Australorp, and 1 Americauna. Two days later I went back to the local feed store and added a Buff Orpington and a Barred Plymouth Rock. They all get along great together.

    How often to clean coop?

    Hi, This is my first year with chickens (6). They have a 6 x 6 x 6 foot coop area, and an attached outdoor totally enclosed run, 6 x 20' so they spend just the evenings inside. They mostly poop under the roosting area. I clean up the visible poop every day, first thing in the morning before...
