    Hey guys... I feel overwelmed with info. New coup and new chickens... The coup sits on grass but has some dirt/sand areas (I have heard if they eat to much grass it can cause problems..... T/F ?) Should I give them a heat lamp? I live in southern california.... weather is 60's at night...

    Hi All, I was raised with chickens and now after 20+ years I have 5 new chicks.... I have herd that black walnut trees can kill chickens if they get into the walnuts, how about pistachio trees and nuts.. I ask because I have one of each and dont want to hurt the girls... Thanks
