    Rooster losing feathers in front of tail. Moulting? or Hen-pecked? or something else

    I am having the same issue, I have an american game rooster that is the same way, but I have seen the hens pecking them out..I don't know why they are doing this..any ideas?

    I may have to do that, These chickens have been in that coop for almost a year...It was pouring down rain and sleet last night and we had to chase chickens in the dark!!LOL!!

    Humidity question?!?!

    I am now on day 21 with my 17 lavender orpington hatching eggs, I woke up and had to run some errands and did not check my incubator.. I just looked and the humidity was at 39%!! I have no idea why it dropped so fast from last nights 69%...my question is will this be a problem..I have no pips...

    I use a soap like Dawn, or any other dish soap and water, never have to buy Raid or any other, the soapy water works just as fast!!!
