hi all i set 36 eggs and ended up with 8 along the way that didn't develop. 18 hatched out and 2 were incorrectly positioned. i managed to slowly pick them out. which was completely nuts because i have never done that before. but all turned out well and they are doing great. thank god for sally...

hi everyone im a newbie to hatching out chicks. i got 3 little ones and one of them has pretty severe curled toes. its like she is walking on the tops of her feet and not the bottoms. i thought that maybe they would straighten out on their own but they are not. they are not worse but not better...

It is possible that a hawk got her. I'm sorry for your loss :( I have 3 little frizzles. I love them. Danna

Oh yes :) last batch I was too. Only this time since my bator is packed full I decided to try a egg turner. So much for that idea....lol

Hi dana Ya know I just had this exact problem. Out of 13 only 3 hatched. I'm so bummed because I can't figure out why the rest didn't hatch out. They had chicks in them to. I gotta figure out what happened I'm lost. Danna

Thanks you guys for your answers. Do you think it would be a bad idea to put a hole in each ones air cell just to be on the safe side to make sure they get air?

hi all i had some bantam eggs shipped to me for hatching. well on day 18 i heard a bunch of chirping. is that too early? its been about 30 hrs later and nothing else has happened. im starting to get worried should i do anything or just wait? please help im a first timer thanks danna
