    I have four girls a Danish brown leg two barred rocks and and a black astrolorpe. Anyways the last month ive notice that some of the eggs are tasting like dirt. My husband finally noticed today so ive been searching to find out what causes it but I can't find any real answers. Help please...

    Did you ever fix your dirt in the egg problem? I was looking if i could find a reason why my eggs suddenly started tasting like dirt too. My girls are a year old now and i don't know the reason. It's gross though.

    Is it really this complicated? Feeling a bit overwhelmed!

    We built ours from scratch $100 back in sep of last year. We just bought four today I think starting with the coop established first is better cuz I don't have to worry when I can put the girls in. :)
