Run for 5 chickens. How big???

We are getting 5 chickens and i was wondering how big the run needed to be for them. I also want to have a little extra room in case i decide to add two or three more chickens. Thanks!!!

How big does my coop (and run) need to be?

I personally have 5 chickens in a 6' by 8' coop and a 8' by 11' run. I did build so that I am able to add a couple more chickens though.

Adding a silkie to the flock

I was thinking about adding a silkie to the flock. I was wondering if only 1 could be introduced, or should i add two and how would i do this? I have never added to the flock before, so im pretty much clueless.
