This sweet little cochin bantam is 6 weeks old believe it or not. It is soooo tiny and is not even as big as it looks because it is so fluffly. Any ideas on the color and gender? Sorry if the pictures are not that great. Thank you!

Ok, so how old are they before you can really tell their gender?

I don't know, but 8, 9 and 10 are soooo cute. I really needed something to make me smile and I just got it. They are about the cutest little things I have ever seen.

I have had my silkies for a little over six weeks. I thought they were 2-3 weeks old when I got them, but now I am thinking they were older. Any ideas on the sex and age of this one? I have 5 altogether, but could not get pictures of all of them yet. Here they are right after I got them back...

I would guess roo, though I am no expert. Here is a picture of mine at almost 3 weeks old. As you can see by the pictures, they were taken on May 25th. Since then, it has really become obvious who is who. You should not have to wait much longer to have a better idea. Roo: Pullet:

Thank you for your replies. Oh my goodness, I have way too many roosters.... Well since I have a pair, should I plan on hatching some more babies? What kind of temperment do these beauties have? I have read they are docile. Is that correct?
