    So I guess I need to take her to a vet to get diagnosed first? I dont want to treat her for something I'm not entirely sure is wrong with her unless it wouldn't hurt to do so. Her feed was only recently changed but she doesnt need such high protein anymore so I plan to go back to their old feed.

    What would be a good way to tell if the shells are brittle? I do feed them crushed eggshell every couple of feedings. I just know quail eggs are already fragile in general so I'm not sure how I'd be able to tell if it's brittle or normal. Forgive me I'm still new to egg quality.

    So I keep coturnix quail only. They lay "normal" patterned eggs regularly, but today I found an unusual one. It is completely patternless with a tanish coloration. Any coturnix owners out there that get eggs like this on some occasion? Is this a quality issue or something I should be worried...

    It's rare for them to hatch but not unheard of. Maybe since they are developing and seem healthy as of now you could see where it goes?
