I know he is frizzle and I know he’s a boy as he’s crowing all the time.
he is 4 months old.
I have 19 other hens with him.
Is it possible for roosters to be nice? He was hatched and raised with my flock but worry he could be mean although he isn’t yet.
any suggestions on keeping a rooster...
I know it’s likely to early to tell this chick is 3 weeks old hatched by a broody chick ordered fertile egg from my pet chicken.
Only 1 egg out of 7 took
Anyway I’m super new to frizzle. Can it be any breed that is a frizzle?
many ideas what gender this one might be?
good news is regardless...
My chicks are now 6 weeks old
I ordered them online with 4 light brahmas. But have no idea what the other 4 from the “rare breed“ package are. They couldn’t tell me either lol
Any ideas?
Got 4 light Brahma chicks and 4 rare breed mystery assortment from my pet chicken

The yellow and black and yellow I have a guess but want to know what you guys think of my 4
What about my other chicks? By color I see 3 girls and 3 boys. Some of the lighter ounces have combs coming already and the darker ones don't. That's mama with them in the picture. Not sure how old they are as whom I got them from she didn't know she just knew mama went missing and came back...

The lady who I got these from they were moving so I took a mama and some babies. So totally new at this and she didn't have much of an idea who is whose mama etc feathers are on the one leg only. My kids will be so sad it's a boy since we won't keep any boys. I have 7 other babies I have a pic...
My gut is leaning toward a pullet because she's darker in color like my other adult barred rock Hen. And all the pics I've looked up it matches more the girls.
Any opinions?
Just noticed on my Buffs as well. Two out of 3 have it. It's been super cold in NorCal with lots of frost but no snow and they seem happy enough and friendly as ever
Anyone figure out what it is?
It's from a family friend who couldn't keep their chickens because they are moving. Couldn't leave this little one behind. Super sweet, loves to cuddle when I walk into the room. I'm guessing about 4-5 weeks old from my google research. I know nothing about chicks but also have a Mama with 7...
