We hatched these this year and I love the color on the Bantams. The color is Dunlaced Gold. ( think Goldenlaced but Dun in the place of the black color)
After having a pair many years ago, I have been working for the last few years to create them again. I'm very pleased with the progress this year. Type, lacing and color on this years juvenile Bantam Dunlaced is excellent. Can't wait to show a few at Ohio National this year.

Mottled is already being bred with good success. There were examples shown at the Silkie Nationals last month. Brenda Gambil from Birds of Paradise and Birds And Eggs farms in Texas.
These are Calico colored silkies. The hen is the dead give away. These cannot be salmon because they do not have mahogany color genes, to make it a short explanation.
