Hi I am a beginner to back yard chickens. I saw online how many people in NYC were actually getting chickens and ducks, so I started researching how to raise chickens. I have in the past hatched and raised parakeets, bearded dragons and an axotle. I have a jack Russel/pit bull, Einstein, he is 14 years old. My chickens, Stella and Goldie hen are both 7 weeks old, and are doing very well. I have two more coming tomorrow, oct 14th, a Plymouth and Black copper Marin.
