ya - i have let them (all 26) outdoors now, during the day, ....since they were 3 weeks old, it is very hot here. A couple of days ago, because they started so much posturing at not even 4 weeks old, i opened up the messy part of the run, ....the one i thought of cleaning up ...and guess...
Not sure how this works with posting and images - The baby chicks only got here last week, so this one is 8 days old, sat on my shoulder and I managed to get a shot ....so - eehm - there's the buttercup comb :) just for fun
lol - that made me laugh - i have 5 fayoumis from an assorted batch .....keeping my fingers crossed for females :) luckily no one sleeps next close to the coop
I have 11 blue andalusians, some black, some blue, some splash from a straight run. They are 9 days old and I noticed that some definitely have tail feathers approaching 1/2 inch ...other pretty much no tail (mini stubbs) - all my buttercups have tails ...so I am wondering if tails come in...
