blue andalusians 9 day old . can one tell which is male/femal by the tail?

I have 11 blue andalusians, some black, some blue, some splash from a straight run. They are 9 days old and I noticed that some definitely have tail feathers approaching 1/2 inch ...other pretty much no tail (mini stubbs) - all my buttercups have tails ...so I am wondering if tails come in differently according to sex in blue andalusians ....
