If they are fully feathered and it is not to chilly at night you shouldn't need any light at all. It being dark at night is perfectly natural for them :)

That is not a brahma unfortunately, because of the single comb, wrong coloration, and absence of feathered feet. It also appears to be a cockerel (rooster) incase you were unaware. If you want a better chance at breed guessing I suggest you wait until he is full grown. Then repost with clear...
