Hi I was reading an old post and wanted to know if there’s an egg withdrawal period with the Yates tomato and vegetable dust and also does the bird need to be completely covered in the dust or just a little under each wing and near the vent? Thanks
Ok so the oxy didn’t work and in Australia they don’t sell sulfa for chickens I managed to order some for ‘ornamental birds’ but the dose says for parrots. Does anyone know the dose I need for 10 chickens see pics. Please help I need my experienced chicken owners!
Ok update I checked inside her beak and I thought I seen something so I checked again but I don’t think there’s any cankers. I could smell the bad smell in her beak but it’s definitely not as bad as it was! Second day of antibiotics so il check again tomorrow and hopefully she will be better

Ok thanks I think it’s CRD I got oxytetracycline hydrochloride from the fodder store the owner said it’s the strongest antibiotic I can get without going to a vet so fingers crossed it works. I re examined her and I think the funky feathers are from her discharge on her face
Hi thanks for the advice! I will recheck her feathers later today and try giving her a wash. I don’t have any antibiotics but I will pick some up from fodder store. What would canker sores indicate?
