    They look so much better! I'm still waiting for test results from the necropsy. I did a thorough clean and dust in the coop for the leg mites and I can see a big difference. Yay!

    Haha! I have 4 girls, my oldest is the best with the chickens and is wanting to be a vet. She is only in 3rd grade though! By the time she finishes I will be teaching her.

    I take my dogs and cats to a clinic so I'm pretty sure they don't take chickens but I'm not far from a local vet

    My big sister has been doing chickens for about 4 years. What can I say she's my best friend and I tend to follow in her steps.

    Had to put her down myself she was having problems with her legs being somewhat paralyzed. I quarantine her for three weeks and nurses her on everything I could but she was getting worse. By then I thought it would be better to have her checked for diseases

    I just dropped off a 12 week old pullet at the lab and they are doing the necropsy. The initial report said completely healthy so that didn't help. I trust you when you say to use something else and I will for the worms.

    , I was thinking of going with ivermectin since they have a mild case of scaly leg mites. I did read to redose the ivermectin if using for the leg mites. I have also read to rotate wormers and that is why I wanted to know if I always need to redose.

    I have all the different types of wormers written down, but I'm confused about if I need to always redose in two weeks for if that is for just the very first time worming? I had to slaughter one of my hens about a week ago and she had a very small worm load but I have never wormed my flock...
