    I'm not sure who layed this, and I feed them an all flock feed, with plenty of oyster shells for calcium. Whoever layed it has layed perfectly fine eggs previously. Just want to make sure this isn't sign of infection, and that it's just a rare occurrence. Thx.

    We don't really have any chicken wire that she would be sticking it through. Half of their run has chicken wire, but there is no reason she would be pecking through it. I am concerned that it is some sort of illness or infection .

    This is still going on, and I am going to separate her today or tomorrow. By now most of my flock has feathers missing on their backs. If anybody has any other suggestion to avoid having to rehome her, that would be very appreciated:)
