    I let my two chickens out to free-range. One, Gracie, can actually fly for a small amount of time. She came hurtling out of the coop, began flying, flew for about 15 feet, and landed. But then she bounced, like a ball, and did that twice more before just bailing out.

    Our chicken has been laying an egg a day for a while, but suddenly she stopped. We are getting...wait for it...squat. It has been very cold here for the week whe hasn't been laying, does that have something to do with it? And should I be concerned at all?

    How to make a chicken happy

    One of my chickens just died, and the other seems very lonely. Any ideas to make her happy before we get a new chicken? I spend more time with her and give her strawberries and mealworms.
