    Thanks, I will try treating for mites. Do you have a recommended product for that? Also, I should say that this particular hen is definitely at the bottom of the pecking order. Although I haven't seen it happen personally, could it mostly be just the other hens picking her feathers out?

    Thanks for your reply. We don't have a rooster. Looked for mites but didn't see any. Wouldn't mites have spread to the other hens by now? How can we be sure?
