    Mine is named 'Daniel Memorial Coop'. Daniel, the guy who built the coop, almost lost his arm when he built the 12x16x18 coop.

    I put couple inches of sand in the run. It works well. You can get sand from those people who sell landscaping supplies.

    My stop at Cackle Hatchery

    I ordered 5 black sex links, 10 BRs, 3 buttercups from them last year. Black sex link lays extra/jumbo eggs, BRs know how to play the temperature sensor in the coop, and butter cups look smallest and ALWAYS like to be in the nesting box with another hen.

    I've run out of chick feed!

    Make some steamed rice. They will love it! P.S. I usually buy six 50-LBS feed at once to make sure I have enough for my girls.
