He's definitely a roo, I have two just like that one My roos are alot lighter than my BR hens.

Yes, that's another way you can tell pullets from cockerals. The cockerals are lighter. Don't be surprised if your adult roo tries to chase the other boy away. That's what happened with me. I had 7 hens and a rooster. One of the hens hatched a cockeral and, when he got bigger, my original roo wouldn't allow him NEAR the flock. I ended up giving him to my cousin who wanted to start chickens. With 20, though, it may not be a problem.
