    I changed my profile picuture to my sick bannie, Juliet. I also was able to load another picture of her (a front view) to show how her comb is missing and her face is turning black. she isn't eating much and not drinking much. I put a warm towel on her. she appears strong, yet I don't know...

  3. Juliet, our sebring (?) bannie whose rose comb is missing. Not sure if her mate, Romeo, hurt her when doing his rooster duties, or our neighbors dog. She isn't much and not sure if she is drinking. She is in a nest in our attached garage. This picture was taken in our home, in hopes perhaps someone out in backyard chickens can offer a miracle to us... Sept 13, 2012

    My bantan chicken, a sebring? , may be dying...her crown and face are turning dark. All she does is lay around.. this is day two. A couple days ago, as a mentioned on another thread, my birds were chased by neighbor dog, which managed to get a few mouthful of feathers. I lost one chicken two...

    Bless you Chicken Obsessed! I just can't imagine the hawk or the bobcat attack. So sad and my heart goes out to you and your flock. I am from michigan, we have as far as I know, fox, coyote, racoon, weasels, possoms and dogs ..i really like our neighbors dog..just an accident that hopefully...

    Coop deville so sorry for you loss and thank you for your empathy regarding Angie. Just love my hens, two roosters and 7 ducks. I also.raised 5 5 turkeys. I made a deal with my husband If I could raise the turkeys Then I would have been processed. Yanks to that deal but I committed to it...
