I agree with tmarsh83. No Ducks in the same run. I had a Pekin in with my mixed 11 hen flock and it wasn't good. It Bullied my Red sex Link really bad and was MESSY! They waste way more water than they drink. I was filling my 2x 4 gallon waterers every day up from every 3-4 days without the duck...

My run is well protected from preditors and my birds are never closed up into the coop, they come and go as they please. The coop is only for nesting, roosting and protection from the elements. I don't expect overcrowding to be an issue. I'll take that into consideration though, Thanks.
We actually have a duck as well. My wife got it a few weeks ago and it seems to have acclimated with the chickens quite well! We're excited to hopefully get some duck eggs too.
