Dawg53, I was hoping that would not be the case. Would I need to cull even the chicks not showing symptoms? And how soon could I start over with new chicks in the house?

Tractor supply near me was out of the Tylan so I got the oxytetracycline mentioned above. If it doesn't work I will have to order the Tylan 50 online. These are 4 week old chicks and Durvet recommended a dose of 1/2 tbs for a gallon at 400mg. I followed that. I hope it was correct.

Do I just add to the watered and let them drink at will? They won't OD that way will they?

No vet not an option. I bought some of the oxytetracycline. I'm hoping that will help.

Here's some photos of the seabright. She is also 9 months old. My silver duckwing is with her here.

I can try to get a photo of the sebright but her tiny comb is black and I had a golden the same time I got her and by 6 weeks his comb was big and bright red. Hers stayed tiny and turned black.
