No it is not early mallards apparently zipp 28 days. Our first pipped then zipped on the 29th day , and this is only the 2nd that started pipped on the 30th and nothing since
Which makes this the 34th day with no activity in 4 days.

Some say that you can chip the top spreckles of shell off with just your fingernail, and peek if its moving, alive or not.

Everyone in NORCO, CA (farming town) insists that i do not assist this duckling- nor open the incubator. Humidity is at 77% temp is 37.8 celcius same as first duckling that hatched. How long do i wait for him to pop before i attempt to assist :-( Im so sad.
I have one that pipped 24 hrs ago as well… everyone is telling me to NOT open the incubator for any reason- how many days need to pass before i know if it will make it after two teenie holes?
