Back when I raised Coturnix Quail, boys in any enclosure together with girls nearby wasn't a good idea. Even with a lot of room the males would still find each other and fight, but I've never dealt with Button Quail. However, that is a lot of space.

The hawk can probably kill your chickens but not carry them away. I've had a tiny hawk kill one of my chickens even when they were in a heavily fortified cage. My advice is to see if the hawk comes back. Then you might have to put your chickens in some sort of cage nearby. The hawk probably...

Update: The mourning dove chicks are ginormous, and the robin chicks are even larger. 2 chicks in each nest. Well, actually, the correct term would be fledglings. They look like their ready to leave the nest. However, the mourning doves have launched attacks against the robins several times...
