Weak ducklin

I have 2 day old chicks, one is boisterous, all over the place and the other is just sitting there, it’s half the size of the other one and barely lifts its head.
Is there anything I can do to strengthen it?

You should get some Rooster Booster "Poultry Cell"It is really good for getting one feeling better. Did they come through the mail or did you buy local? Is the little one eating and drinking?

Maybe try some Nutri-Drench from TSC. I've used it a lot in the past to help out weak chicks and basically all the sick poultry I've had.

I’ve ordered nutrition-drench but it won’t come until the end of Sept. couldn’t find it locally in Scotland.

they were sent via the post and I hatched them at home.

I boiled a couple of eggs and smooshed them up for the ducklings, most of it was gone this am. Now the other one is eating the baby duckling food but that one just looked at it and wandered off. It was eating yesterday.

Maybe spending some time in with it will help?

It is walking around now and if I lift it out runs up my front and hides in my hair.

Scrambled egg is so good for them. When I lost 2 of 4 ducklings to shipping stress I started feeding the 2 that survived scrambled egg I have no doubt it saved their lives.

Just make sure to put out a small bowl of chick grit anytime you feed anything besides their chick feed. They will use it as they need it.
