    Calling Aunt Angus

If anyone know a way to get ahold of the member "Aunt Angus", please let me know. I sent her a feed sample back in February and was told my sample was taking longer to analyze due to inclement weather. It's now several months and personal messages later and I have had no response...

    Feed Tests - More Results

RoyalChick was concerned about ingesting contaminated eggs, not necessarily the lay rate.

    Feed Tests - More Results

Not in his study or any test on here that I know of. Would be nice to see a test like that, but again, money is an issue. I also wonder about the Ohio derailing causing issues down the road in feeds and everything else coming out of that area.

I am a fan of accurate, financially and politically unmotivated science as well. I know you said this was moved to your mental trash bin, but what is your opinion on dioxins and their effects on egg laying. Curious to learn. Thanks.

    Feed Tests - More Results

To add to this, I just read through Mike Adam's fairly extensive analysis of 6 feeds including PP. While he didn't find an alarming level of aflatoxin, heavy metals, or microbial presence, he did state the testing limitations which were: only testing 1 bag, and not testing for dioxins. So...

    Feed Tests - More Results

I changed on Febuary 28th so the days were getting longer. However, with this flock and a couple others, I never had winter production this low when I was on any other feed. Just PP. And the egg increase literally happened in 2 days which seems crazy to me. Also, my cousins, neighbors, and...

    Feed Tests - More Results

I'm getting tons of eggs now that I switched off that producers pride crap. I had better luck with country road before that! now I'm on Nutrina and after 2 days of feeding, went from 1 egg every other day (sometimes 2 days), to 3 a day consistently. I'll never go back.

Yeah I briefly skimmed through it. I'll have to grab an old bag and see if there's a difference. although my oldest bag is somewhere around September.

    Feed Tests - More Results

What you're saying makes sense. I personally have had low egg turn out but no soft shells and my birds are acting completely normal otherwise. Only other thing I'd like to see is a heavy metals test and some additional mycotoxins, but the money gets a bit ridiculous. I've switched to a local...

Also, after digging through the results, there is no data for calcium, phosphorus, salt, or sodium, which are egg laying factors. Am I missing a page or something?
