Not sure about hens but raspberry leaves are fairly effective for mild to moderate cycle issues..no idea aboutother species except humans

Ah i am so used to livestock vetsusing products off label which is allowed federally if there isnot a licensed product for that use I ASSUMED that all states went by the federal regulation ..which i should hVave known that some states had more rigorousrules

have you checked out the gamma seal lids for 5 gal buckets? I never store much feed at a time, but I like to keep it airtight too, and I put in a big desiccant pack in each bucket. Feed/dog food stays fresh a long time in them.

All my buckets have gamma lids. They cost more, up front - but are SO worth it! Lowe's carries food-grade buckets and gamma (or regular) lids. If you go with gamma lids, invest in an inexpensive, rubber mallet, to help you attach the gamma lids ring.

Edit: it wouldn't hurt to employ the freeze method to your feed before storing, as well. Alternately ~ you could layer your feed with light dustings of DE, or bay leaves. This would help with insects, not with product degredation. But, I would think your oxygen absorbers would help with that

Oh good lawd. My mother called early this morning and the first thing I hear is "Did you hear about government tainting Tractor Supply feed and now everyone's chickens aren't laying anymore?". I calmly explained why chickens stop/slow down laying in the fall throughout the winter and her response is "Yeah, but this guy on YouTube says". This woman does not even own chickens.

Also, after digging through the results, there is no data for calcium, phosphorus, salt, or sodium, which are egg laying factors. Am I missing a page or something?
