    Ok for an update on the hatch rate. We ordered 110 eggs from Myshire. We received 120. One was cracked. 119 went into the incubator. I think we are thru with the hatch. We have 75 little furballs. 62.5% hatch rate. We use a Little Giant incubator with the quail rails for the turner.

    After working out a few hickups/kamikaze issues it is working well. I stretched plastic netting over the top and used spring clamps to hold it tight.

    How close is too close to have chickens and quail? The shady spot I would like to put them is about 20' from one of the chicken runs.

    Any thoughts on either the Hatching Time or Wynola Ranch quail Craig systems? Or any other commercially available cage set-ups? I can build them but the older I get the more I appreciate someone else's work......

    Thank Yall. They are outside with a heat lamp in an elevated broader box. Supposed to get in the forties one night soon. Will throw a towel over part of the box that night.
