He is totally fine and normal now. I have no idea what that was. I even have a lot of experience with birds. I work as a wildlife rehabber so I rehab wild birds all the time but I’ve never seen anything like that happen so suddenly. I think he may have been startled by choking.
his crop feels normal, I live in CA. Hes not normally around other chickens, he has been in kinda wet ground. He was fluffing in my garden pots and the soil was moist. His breathing sounds normal too. His mouth color is normal also, and his temperature and heart rate all are fine.
hes just sleeping on my lap right now, easily awoken but still idk why he is so so sleepy. maybe it doesn't have to do with choking on the grape. Hes making cute sweet whistles at me still
