    We started off with 6 and are down to 4. the two dumb ones didnt follow the chickens. No idea what got them but they are giant ass birds kills me they let a coon/fox who knows get them! and feathers right by their pen. They really are not the smartest bird but it seems they need to follow...

    Duckling never internally pipped.. what went wrong?

    8 Duckling hatched out fine with no issue... We were at day 28 today and i saw no internal pip and no movement in eggs...s tarted opening a few up.. found perfectly positioned ducklings that never internally pipped... all dead.. nearly 40 eggs worth :( So.. what went wrong? I DID forget...

    So I opened a few. I've got perfectly formed ducklings... positioned for pipping.. but all are dead. Why? Too much humidity not enough? Membranes looked good they werent dry...

    Eggs set 3-30 @ approx 10am We are now at day 28.5 and here are the stats Set 50 eggs. 2 were yolkers. Every other egg hit every milestone... blood island etc... I had no quitters. Prior to lockdown on Wednesday night I checked all eggs and ALL had movement and were alive. I had 2 hatch...
